Ostend – From May 22 to May 25, 2025, Ostend will once again host Ostend at Anchor, Belgium’s largest maritime festival. This major event attracts thousands of visitors each year and highlights both the rich history of sailing and the future of the maritime sector.

A Historic Fleet as the Festival’s Backdrop

⛵ Mare Frisium – A former herring lugger, later transformed into a luxurious three-masted schooner, with a capacity of 120 passengers.
⛵ Minerva – Built in 1935, this ship was restored in 1987 to its original state and can now accommodate 90 passengers.
⛵ De Jantje – Originally constructed as a fishing vessel in 1930, this ship was later converted into a brigantine, known for its speed and maneuverability. Today, it is a luxurious vessel accommodating 36 passengers.
