Ostend is preparing for the next step as a conference city. The Kursaal Oostende is undergoing extensive renovations and will reopen in early 2027 as a state-of-the-art conference centre.

The iconic concert hall will feature an innovative modular floor system and a capacity of over 3,000 visitors, making the Kursaal the largest modular hall in Belgium. The Lounge has also been completely redesigned into a stylish, multifunctional space with a unique sea view. This makes the Kursaal more versatile than ever, accommodating everything from smaller meetings to large international conferences.

Ostend’s conference offerings are also highly diverse and perfectly complementary. De Grote Post is a beautiful heritage venue suitable for seminars and conferences of up to 400 participants. The ACEG Wellington Hippodrome, on the other hand, is ideal for trade shows, dinners and gala events. Together, these venues form a strong and flexible package for any type of event.

In terms of hospitality, Ostend has made significant strides in recent years. With over 2,000 rooms in three- and four-star hotels and a marked increase in mentions in the Gault&Millau guide, the city also proves its culinary excellence.

Finally, Ostend always offers a relaxed atmosphere. The sea, the beach, and the open vibe make the city perfect for unwinding during a conference or for team-building activities. Ostend’s offerings form a diverse and coherent package, allowing you to easily organise anything from small teambuildings to large seminars and conferences.

Meet in Oostende is ready to assist and support you in organising your next event.
