It is actually only logical that this restaurant serves excellent North Sea fish, which comes straight from the sea onto your plate. Its chef, Christophe Snauwaert, only works with fish, which originates from the sea directly in front of his nose and is freshly delivered every morning. This ranges from the weever to the tub gurnard and sole. The shrimps you can savour in Moi, Toi et La Mer of course also come from Ostend and were bought at the “Vistrap” (the well-known Ostend open-air fish market). In short, this is a highly recommendable restaurant on the Promenade. As a result, both inhabitants of Ostend as well as tourists go to great lengths to “conquer” a place on the delightful terrace.
